Grobogan

I would like to tell you about Grobogan. Before I tell you, let me introduce my self. My name is Pawestri Ayu Kinasih. Oke, check it out.

Grobogan is a big city in Central Java, after Cilacap. Grobogan’s capital city is Purwodadi. Grobogan is a unique city. It is very hot. It is not quiet. Sometimes, it is crowded. The people living in Grobogan are very friendly.

Grobogan has traditional markets. For example,

1.      Pasar Purwodadi

2.      Pasar Godong

3.      Pasar Nglejok, and many more.

Grobogan has modern markets. They are,

1.      Surya Laksana, and

2.      Luwes.

Grobogan has famous traditional arts as its cultural identity. It is Tayub.

Grobogan has many famous culinaries. They are,

1.      Sayur Becek

2.      Nasi Jagung and Botok Yuyu

3.      Swieke

Don’t forget to taste, guys...

Palawija is typical motive of Batik originally coming from Grobogan. Grobogan does not have a mall. Along time ago, Grobogan had cinemas. But now the cinemas were closed.

But don’t worry,

Grobogan has many tourist destinations and fantastic places. They are,

1.      Api Abadi Mrapen. It is a fire that can not be extinguished.

2.      Bledug Kuwu. It is mudflow. Which can produce salt naturaly. Infact, Grobogan doesn’t have a beach and a sea. How amazing, right....

3.      Sendang Coyo

4.      Waduk Kedung Ombo. If you visit Waduk Kedung Ombo, you can grill fresh fish.

There are many waterfalls. They are,

1.      Widuri waterfall

2.      Gulingan waterfall

3.      Ngayongan waterfall.

There are many caves. They are,

1.      Urang cave

2.      Gogor cave

3.      Medang Kamulan cave, and many more.

There are many religious spots. They are,

1.      Ki Ageng Selo tomb

2.      Ki Joko Tarub tomb

3.      KH. Burham mosque.

Oke guys, if you want to know where Grobogan is. It is not far from Solo. Grobogan is bordered on the North by Surakarta.
